Watercolor Wedding

Posted by Michelle

One way to incorporate a lot of vibrant colors into your wedding, but in a soft, elegant way is to have a watercolor theme.  The subtle effects of watercolor are beautiful and romantic in fabrics, stationery, and flowers.

Ornaments & Decorations

Posted by Michal

I stumbled upon these lovely acorn jingle bell/ornaments on Etsy and just had to share! Made from real acorns, oversized bells, and a bit of glitter, they are wonderful as decoration, display ornaments, winter favors, or to ring in the happiness of the bride & groom.

Here are some other Christmas ornaments I’ve been loving lately as well:

Peacock Pride

Posted by Michelle

The peacock is a symbol of purity, endless love, and eternal life, making it the perfect icon for a wedding or bridal shower.

Stately peacock feathers add instant elegance and texture to any floral arrangement or table setting.  The gorgeous jewel tones are so enchanting and regal too.

Beauty in meaning and design… what more could you want?

Shop Love: Three Potato Four

Posted by Michal

I’m a sucker for “old stuff.” You know what I mean – items you absolutely don’t need but just have to have because they’re either so cool or would be perfect for that imaginary photo shoot you keep dreaming about. If you are an addict like me, Three Potato Four might just be too dangerous, as you are going to want to buy everything they have. Like romantic miniature skeleton keys that are great for wearing mysteriously around… Read More »

Real Wedding: Jaime + Ethan

Posted by Michal

I’m in love with this real wedding from Cleveland, Ohio sent to us by talented local photographer, Hunter Harrison. Each detail of the wedding represented the bride and groom, both researchers, one from the southwest, one a die-hard OSU Buckeyes fan! To provide the beautiful sun-lit portraits the bride and groom specifically requested, Harrison used natural light whenever possible, and utilized an old Polaroid SX-70 camera with expired film.

The ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Shrine… Read More »

Crafty Place Cards

Posted by Michelle

Last week I blogged about some beautiful escort cards, so today I wanted to share some elegant place cards that live up to them – these creative tags definitely won’t disappoint when guests finally arrive to their tables. What I love about these samples are how unique and functional they are, whether it’s making use of items already on the table like a wine glass or actually incorporating your appetizers into the place cards. I love the little origami heart…… Read More »
