To round out the week and wrap up the Chinese New Year themed posts, I wanted to share a beautiful wedding photo featuring the famous dragon dance tradition. After all, it is the year of the dragon, which is considered the luckiest sign of the Chinese zodiac, making it a very auspicious time for weddings! Wishing everyone lots of love, luck, and laughter this fortunate year!

Here’s a sweet idea… use a pretty white mailbox for guests to leave wedding cards and good wishes for the newlyweds in! How quaint!

I am a huge fan of adding some sparkle to your wedding. Now of course glitter can be overdone, so limit it to the details in terms of your decor and fashion. And stick with neutral metallics, like silver, gold, rose gold, etc. – that will add just the right amount of shine to your special day!

One way to incorporate a lot of vibrant colors into your wedding, but in a soft, elegant way is to have a watercolor theme. The subtle effects of watercolor are beautiful and romantic in fabrics, stationery, and flowers.

A scalloped border is such a simple detail, but it certainly goes a long way – adding loads of charm to anything from a dress to an invitation. Scallops are sweet for showers and elegant for weddings!

I stumbled upon these lovely acorn jingle bell/ornaments on Etsy and just had to share! Made from real acorns, oversized bells, and a bit of glitter, they are wonderful as decoration, display ornaments, winter favors, or to ring in the happiness of the bride & groom.

Here are some other Christmas ornaments I’ve been loving lately as well:
