These colorful Laurels by Laurie wreaths lend just the right amount of texture and charm to rustic, autumn weddings. Classic round and romantic heart shaped designs are pretty ways to welcome guests to the festivities or add to your ceremony decor. Each piece is one-of-a-kind too and will last for years to come, so you’ll have a treasure from your wedding you can enjoy long after the celebration has ended.

I love the wonderful vintage-inspired offerings from Terrain, an online store that has everything from garden & home accents and furnishings to rare findings for your pantry and bath. My favorites include precious Himalayan salt, a great gift for any foodie, beautiful ceramic hurricanes, and a vintage style milk jug pitcher. The gem amongst them is the chalkboard creamer – no more guessing skim, whole or cream! Genius!

I am a huge fan of adding some sparkle to your wedding. Now of course glitter can be overdone, so limit it to the details in terms of your decor and fashion. And stick with neutral metallics, like silver, gold, rose gold, etc. – that will add just the right amount of shine to your special day!

Decals are a fun way to add color and theme to a blank wall, a “just married” getaway car, a dance floor or even chairs. Relatively inexpensive compared to fabric draping or florals, decals are fun and customizable with your monogram, wedding colors, or theme.

One way to incorporate a lot of vibrant colors into your wedding, but in a soft, elegant way is to have a watercolor theme. The subtle effects of watercolor are beautiful and romantic in fabrics, stationery, and flowers.

This charming milk bottle chandelier from Pottery Barn was the inspiration for today’s post. I love bottles being used for everything from decorative to practical purposes – they have such a simple yet sweet appeal. These personalized mini bottle favors are especially popular because they’re as pretty as they are useful, making them perfect parting gifts!

This holiday season extend a peace offering to your family and the world with beautiful gold branches that glitter and sparkle with the season. Pick up fallen branches from your yard and spray paint them gold, or purchase them already made from a florist or online vendor. Use them as place card holders, chandeliers, or table decoration. Or stamp branches with gold ink on paper cuffs for a do-it-yourself favor, like these cookie boxes from One Girl Cookies.… Read More »

Here are some other Christmas ornaments I’ve been loving lately as well:

The peacock is a symbol of purity, endless love, and eternal life, making it the perfect icon for a wedding or bridal shower.
Stately peacock feathers add instant elegance and texture to any floral arrangement or table setting. The gorgeous jewel tones are so enchanting and regal too.
Beauty in meaning and design… what more could you want?
